Elden’s Ring boasts an impressive character customization feature, similar to that of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s Dragonborn. One notable aspect of this feature is the ability for a player’s character to undergo certain events or complete certain quests which results in a change in their eye shape. Once infected with vampirism, players will witness the transformation of their eyes into one of three distinct variations.
The first variation, Dragon Eyes, transforms the iris and sclera into a golden color with zigzag pupil slits resembling that of a dragon’s eyes. Meanwhile, the frenzied flame eyes variation sees the Kuangyan Tong dyeing the sclera jet black while turning both iris and pupils into a mist-like frenzy that resembles the Kuangyan Curse. Lastly, Blood Eyes renders Tarnished’s eyes bloodshot with red outer eyes and pitch-black pupils.
Fortunately for players, unwanted variations can be removed at any time by using the character customization mirror. With this feature available in Elden’s Ring, players are given even more control over their characters’ appearance than ever before – making each playthrough all the more unique!

The most straightforward way to change Elden’s eye is by using the Dragon’s Eye, which can be obtained by purchasing four Dragon Communion spells with the Dragon Heart. Eye of Elden Ring Modification – Flames of Madness
To obtain the Mad Eye of Fire in Elden’s Ring, Tarnished needs to unlock the secret door located at the bottom of the Corpse Spire in the underground bunker beneath Leyndell. To reach this area, Tarnished must first navigate through the dungeon’s sewers and arrive at the Church of the Abandoned. Once Omen Mog is defeated, they can proceed through the psychedelic passage behind the Sanctuary’s altar and conquer challenging climbing obstacles to eventually reach the lowest floor. It’s important to note that Tarnished should visit this location both before and after Leyndell undergoes its world-changing event as Ashen Capital.
Elden Ring Red Eye Alter
The final step to obtain Elden’s Ring, the Red Blood Eye, is accomplished by completing Varré the White Mask’s quest. This NPC, also known as Wale the Whiteface, is a devout follower of the Blood Lord who seeks to welcome the Impure into his “bloodthirsty” family. In this questline, players must retrieve the Finger Maiden’s bloody cloth and invade other players’ worlds three times. Once these prerequisites are fulfilled, Varré will tear off the player’s fingers and return them in exchange for Bloodfinger. This will cause the player to have red eyes and receive Elden’s Ring.
